The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw is a highly capable color laser multifunction printer (MFP). It delivers fast speed, high-quality text and graphics output and support for both printing from the cloud and through Wi-Fi mobile devices. Known for improved workflow, mobile printing and manageability features, the M277dw has two-sided printing. The M277 also has a one-sheet manual feed, making it easy to use different paper stock for quick document printing without needing to swap out paper in the tray.

 

The M277dw offers improved paper handling for scanning as well, with a letter-size flatbed and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), which can handle up to legal-size pages providing faster and high-quality text and graphics output. The M277dw's basic MFP features include printing from and scanning to a computer plus working as a standalone copier and fax machine. It can also print from and scan to a USB memory thumb drive. But, If you want to fax from your PC using the M277sw’s you will have to download HP’s universal fax driver from HP's website


The M277dw connects to a network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Additionally, it may print through the Web and connect through an access point on your network to print from and scan to Android and iOS phones and tablets. For mobile devices that support NFC, you can establish the connection simply by touching the device to the NFC logo on the front of the printer.


The M277dw is compact measuring 12.7 by 16.5 by 16.4 inches (HWD) and weighs 40 pounds which is small enough that you shouldn't have any trouble finding room for it. The printer's speed is excellent in its class at 19 pages per minute (ppm) both for color and for black-and-white. Output quality overall is above par for a color laser MFP, thanks primarily to the printer's high-quality text and graphics. The M277dw is good for marketing materials, such as one-page handouts or trifold brochures, but photos are a step below the near-photo-quality of other color laser MFP. Photo’s look dark, yet makes it good enough for most business purposes only so don't expect to print your high quality family pictures with the HP LaserJetPro MPF M277dw.
