Sennheiser RS 185 Wireless Headset Review
by Mikael Romo - March 30, 2015
Review
Sometimes, it's okay to put your feet up, turn your TV on, and lose yourself, provided you have a great home movie theater system. TechSmart Reviews has shown you TV's and media players that provide incredible viewing quality. Now, we give you sound. Take a look at the Sennheiser RS 185 headset if you're considering a comfortable, wireless way to appreciate sound.
You walk in the door after a long day at work and fall upon your couch ready to Netflix your stress away in front of your hard-earned home theater. The new season of your favorite show is on and all you want is to pair your eyes and ears to the screen. You need a way to tune out the world while you watch TV. Do so--with the Sennheiser RS 185 wireless headphones.
The RS 185 is part of the Sennheiser home audio lineup and even won the Red Dot Award for product design. Indeed, it was designed for comfort and use, with padded ear cups that emit uncompressed digital audio transmission. To set it up, plug the TR 185 transmitter to the wall first, then choose either analog or digital audio input to connect to your TV. Once you're either listening to music or immersed in a movie, you can easily manage volume and left/right adjustments with controls located on the right ear cup. Instead of Bluetooth, the transmitter can communicate with up to two headphones via a radio-frequency system with a range of up to 100 meters from the source, so you don't have to worry about losing your sound due to distance, although walls and other gadgets may cause interference. When fully charged, the headphones provide up to 18 hours of high-fidelity sound, and the transmitter also serves as a docking/charging station where you can leave your headphones overnight.
Although the open-back design of the headphones may let unwanted sounds in, the rich, dark bass may compensate for some. In the end, the Sennheiser RS 185 are a competitive set of comfortable headphones that provide quality listening for long durations.

Bose QuietComfort 25 Noise Cancelling Headphones
Review
by David Priede - February 23, 2015
QuietComfort® 25 headphones are re-engineered to sound better, be more comfortable and easier to take with you. Put them on, and suddenly everything changes. Your music is deep, powerful and balanced, and so quiet that every note sounds clearer. Even air travel becomes enjoyable, as engine roar gently fades away. No matter how noisy the world is, it's just you and your music—or simply peace and quiet.
Bose completely redesigned industry-leading headphones with higher-quality materials and finishes. They're lightweight, and earcups rotate even more for a better fit. The headband sits closer to your head, with luxurious suede-like material underneath for extra comfort. If the AAA battery runs out, you can still enjoy music without noise reduction. And the earcups pivot to fit in a compact case that's easy to carry.
QC25 headphones let you focus on what matters—your music, movies and videos. And they reduce what you don't want to hear. Like a crowded city street. Cabin noise inside an airplane. Or a busy office. Advanced noise reduction technology and unique electronics make it happen. Even the ear cushions give you an extra level of quiet by sealing out some of the world around you.
Many of Bose engineers are also musicians, with a passion for music. So when you wear these headphones, you'll hear ringing guitars. Soaring vocals as the chorus kicks in. Deep bass and crisp drums drive the beat forward. Bose® Active EQ and TriPort® technology deliver performance so compelling, you'll want to listen for hours. And the fit's designed so you can.
The noise cancelling headphones are designed specifically for use with select iPod®, iPhone® and iPad® models, so the inline microphone/remote puts music and call controls at your fingertips. Many features are also compatible withtoday's most popular phones.
Choose from 52 vibrant colors to customize 9 separate headphone elements in matte or gloss finish. And rest assured, your customized QC25 headphones will look as good as they sound for years. They boast a durable finish with a great focus on detail. Superior painting techniques with automotive-grade paint have passed the toughest Bose environmental tests.
