Internships
As the global economy gets more competitive challenges for good jobs continues to increase. You have to be more qualified than the many others all over the world. Going to a college or university is an essential step, however you can considerably strengthen your classroom learning by gaining real world experience through our internships.
In addition to gaining experience to complete your classroom learning, our internships enable you to build up your portfolio or resume and create valuable industry contacts which can be important to landing an excellent job. In today’s competitive job market, it really is what you know and who you know that often makes all the difference.
By joining our team, you will gain real life experience. The people you connect with during the internship spend time with you in a professional setting. These connections will give you a strong recommendation in the future. You will learn and polish new communications skills, technologies, types of analysis and project management techniques. In the real world of employment, learning never stops, and it’s a good idea to start adding to your skills inventory early. What you learn with us can set the direction for your entire career. Best of luck in your next step towards a better future!
Note: Check with your college or university if you qualify to use internships for credits.

Thank you for your interest in working with us. Please read the Internship Agreement and fill out the form below. We will be in touch with you shortly.
INTERNSHIP PRE-AGREEMENT
The following document outlines the initial agreement between the TECHSMART REVIEWS and you, the INTERN.
Our goal is to develop a relationship of mutual trust and respect. By signing this document, we are agreeing to work together to build a great experience for you as an intern. By signing we are also agreeing that we believe strong partnerships are built when expectations are clearly set and open communication exists between both sides. A formal contract will be send to you once you are approved.
Time Commitment and Expectations:
We would like you to work 10-20 hours a week. Assignments will be delivered with clear directions. Mentoring will be provided to you all throught the Internship term. If you have a busy week at school and need to work less hours this is fine with us (school comes first!). If you are cranking, loving a project, and feeling tons of ownership, work more.
We also ask that you notify us with details of vacation weeks and/or time off. Sometimes school and personal life gets tough when deadlines are due. Practice smart planning, if you see that your time management gets particularly difficult, give us a heads up, let us know and we will help you. This is just smart planning and will serve you well in the future.
Personal responsibility is an important quality for employees. While there are the occasional exceptions, we will do our best to give you assignments with a reasonable amount of time to complete. On the other hand, by giving you this kind of freedom, we expect you to get your work done and practice good communication when it comes to managing your deadlines. Make it a challenge and turn things around quickly and efficiently. You will learn good habits that will make you indispensable to employers. The more work we do together, the more we are going to be able to teach you and the more experience you’re going to get. So let’s work together and make this happen for both of us.
Communications:
You will be working on a virtual environment platform also called Intranet. We will have training sessions via Skype and will be sharing screens for you to see how things are done. Please take notes, ask questions, and make sure you are OK with what you have learned in the sessions. Some of your training will be done by matter experts with academic backgrounds with skills to provide a solid learning experience for you. We will also be available via phone if you need us.
Confidentiality:
We cannot overstate the importance of confidentiality. The documents you will be receiving, methods, original materials, and clients’ information are strictly confidential. What you learn you will be able to apply to your career and work, but confidential materials cannot be shared without explicit approval.
